Squatting at Langton
I was invited by New Langton Arts, San Francisco, to curate one week of their laboratory-style, experiential exhibition, Five Habitats: Squatting at Langton, modeled after Jock Reynolds' 1978 show Five Habitats for Five Members at Langton's original location, 80 Langton Street. Architect Kyu Che designed five habitats in the gallery, and I selected artists Sergio de la Torre, Leo Estevez, Julia Page, Kristin Lucas, and Pete Nelson to create works for these spaces.
